We are pleased to share the highlights of the impactful Nordic Ukrainian Advocacy Summit 2024 held in Helsinki last week, where our organization was represented by Dmytro Romanchenko! 🇺🇦 🌍

The summit kicked off with powerful speeches from Andrii Deschytsia (Former Ukrainian Ambassador to Finland), Vasyl Goutsoul (Ukrainian Association in Finland), Gabriele Baumann (Konrad Adenauer Stiftung), and Alex Panko (Nordic Ukraine Forum), setting an inspiring tone for the event. 📢✨

The engaging panel discussions on Ukraine’s victory, future strategies, and the role of Nordic interests, featuring experts like Minna Ålander (Finnish Institute of International Affairs), Pekka Toveri (Member of the European Parliament), and Olena Halushka (International Center for Ukrainian Victory), provided deep insights and valuable perspectives. Learning about advocacy strategies from Oras Tynkkynen (Finnish Member of Parliament) at the Finnish Parliament was a highlight!

Day two at the Ukrainian Center was just as impactful, with discussions on effective advocacy led by Victoria Voitsitska (International Center for Ukrainian Victory), Yulia Paievska “Taira” (Paramedic working on releasing POWs), Maria Mekri (SaferGlobe), and Severi Hämäri (Faktabaari/Avoin yhteiskunta). We are grateful to have been a part of this summit, working together to accelerate Ukraine’s victory! 💪💙💛
